We believe children thrive when they are happy, healthy, safe, and engaged in learning. Every day at Gumnut is preparation for life. We celebrate all the milestones of childhood whilst also preparing children to develop self-awareness, self-management, awareness of others, and wise decision making. We support them as they build relationships with others. These social and emotional skills are the foundation for learning. We believe children have the right to enjoy being children therefore we make space for the meaningful and deep learning which comes from a play-based curriculum. The creativity, the wonder and the joy that children bring to their discoveries are deeply valued by staff.
